Megabytes per second (Mbps) is the speed digital information is downloaded or uploaded to your device(s). Data is the amount of digital information downloaded or uploaded to your device(s).
Data caps are limits of data used by the customer set by Internet providers. While many Internet providers have monthly data caps, SlyTel DOES NOT limit data usage. Use as much as data as you want with no restrictions.
It depends on how you use the Internet. The Sly Net 300 works great for 1-5 devices, like TV’s, cell phones, computers, streaming at the same time and multi-player gaming. The Sly Net 500 is perfect for streaming on 5+ devices and multi-player gaming. The Sly Net 1 Gig is the gold standard for streaming on 20+ devices, pro-level gaming, and video conferencing.
The SlyPod Extender extends Internet coverage throughout your home or business. Larger spaces may need more than one extender to optimize the service. The technician will do an assessment when he/she arrives at your home for installation and will make recommendations for the number of extenders you will need to optimize your service, if applicable.

There is a $99.99 installation fee and optional add-ons such as Slypod Wifi extenders to give you even more coverage in your home or business
There is no contract for residential services. However, you’ll have to return the equipment to us upon termination of service at your expense. If you decide to purchase the service again, you will have to pay an installation fee each time. You can cancel by emailing us at info@slytel.com or calling 229-773-7700. There is a 3-year contract requirement for business services.
Your SlyTel services will be billed separately from your utility bill.
You have multiple options to order the service. You can order online by clicking any of the Order Now buttons on the site. You will have options to select from and you can place your order. Directions will follow with your installation appointment. You can also contact the City of Sylvester by phone, email, or in person at the Depot. Our staff will walk you through the process to place your order. We will contact you shortly to schedule the installation. When the installer arrives at your home, he/she will do an assessment to ensure that the services you chose will give you the level of service you are expecting. When necessary, the installer will offer suggestions for optional add-ons to optimize your service. The following monthly bill will include any add-ons or additional services you agree to during installation.
